  • Putting Social Justice at the Heart of Public Health

    This course develops a public health framework for the prevention of violence against women that is rooted in social justice, community assets, and community needs.   It explores the compatibility of common public health and feminist perspectives for the prevention of violence against women.

  • Course Lesson

    This lesson explores this history of public health's involvement in the prevention of violence against women, introduces a public health framework for the prevention of violence against women in which social justice is core, and examines the compatibility of two perspectives that address sexual and domestic violence prevention: radical feminism and public health.
